Again, if you sign a player like Lewis to a huge 100 million dollar contract, completely handicapping your future, its a fair assessment to say the team is " going for it".

I'm not suggestion you tank, just be smart financially.

Hindsight is always 20/20. You have no idea if Carter would of helped as much as Rashard. Or if he would of been injured.

In fairness, I checked and found that Vince has missed 9 games combined the past 3 seasons. Now I am not sayin HE IS the answer, but part of the problem we have in trading Hedo for a star SG is losing his point -forward mentality as well as good Reb and Assist numbers. Carter does all that, scores more and has more of that toughness, and it allows Lewis to move back to SF. Can Maggette give us that? Hey, I'd rather trade Lewis than Hedo but with that contract, forget it?

Too bad we can't get lucky like the Celtics and be able to get both Carter and AK47
