Oh wait, you can do that too.
Then how did Thomas actually get fired?

If Ewing leaves my vote would be for Bill Walton, he was very good back in his day and I think Dwight might take things from HOF big men with an open mind.
If Magic Assistant Coach Patrick Ewing wants to return to his old team, the New York Knicks, in a similar role, the Magic would have to excuse him from the one year he has left on his contract.
Ewing has long talked about returning to New York, but mostly as a head coach of the Knicks.
The Magic might not stand in Ewing's way, but it might depend on Howard's reaction.
Howard has developed a special relationship with the former Knicks great, and the club believes his play and approach to the game have improved under Ewing's guidance.
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."
New York Coach Mike D'Antoni says Magic assistant coach Patrick Ewing, credited with helping sharpen the play of Orlando all-star center Dwight Howard this season, isn't expected to be on his Knicks coaching staff when he finishes selecting it.
D'Antoni told Newsday's Alan Hahn that Ewing isn't likely to be interested in joining his staff.
Newsday, citing a person with knowledge of the situation, said Ewing is upset that new Knicks President of Basketball Operations Donnie Walsh did not get in touch with him when Walsh was searching for a head coach for the team.
Ewing, who also has worked with the Houston Rockets' Yao Ming on former coach Jeff Van Gundy's staff, would like to become the head coach of an NBA team. Magic Coach Stan Van Gundy had recommended before D'Antoni was hired that the Knicks consider Ewing for their head-coaching job.
"I don't even know the situation or anything," D'Antoni told Newsday. "I've got like 200 people that I need to go through, so the process is long, and we're just trying to get the best. [Ewing's] a great coach and he's done a great job, but we're just trying to get the best for what works for us."
D'Antoni might have a chance to talk with some of those candidates next week at the NBA Predraft Camp in Orlando.
D'Antoni is expected to hire his brother Dan, and another member of his Phoenix Suns staff, Phil Weber, as assistants, and Herb Williams is expected to remain on the coaching staff. D'Antoni might have only one other position open on his coaching staff.
"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."
