Chicago desperately needs a Center. Battie for Noah or Thomas makes more sense than anything involving Turkoglu.

Are you of the school that we should keep 'shard at the PF? Because Battie is our best shot at bumping him back over to the 3-spot.

My point was from the Bulls point of view: that team does not need another forward. Any trade with Chicago will thus not involve Hedo. My only point.

Noah is our center.

And even if he wasn't trading Noah/Thomas for Battie would result in the dead body of Paxson being found in Lake Michigan.

Noah can be a legit C in the league, and the Bulls won't trade either of those two young guys for a guy like Battie.

And that factors in to us wanting to trade him for Battie in some way?

It factors into his trade value dropping. An average big man is one thing, but an average big man with a record is quite another.

noah was better than battie as a rookie and hes not playing next the the best young big man in the league. turkoglu just had by far his best season and looking at the rest of his career, i doubt he repeats. and even if he did, he is nowhere near worth a top 2 pick in this draft. itd be like offering deng+hinrich for howard.
