We could get Kurt Thomas with the bi annual exception . That's like 2.9 mil or something like that . He can't possibly think he's gonna get another big contract at this point in his career

What about Craig Smith from Minny? He's a midget for a PF but looks like a heck of a rebounder.

Then there is always Kwame Brown or Patrick O'bryant.

Doleac and Fransico Elson are also some options, as is Najera (whom I don't want at all).

I think the only way a guy like Kurt Thomas would sign here is if he thinks he can win a title.

Taking a look at the ESPN list of unrestricted free-agents there are a few guys I wouldn't mind seeing the Magic go after.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/stor ... freeagents

Kwame Brown - I know that he has been a colossal bust but if the Magic can get him on the cheap it might work. He is still young, just turning 26. If we still have Patrick working with the big men he might instill some confidence in him. He is also a guy that is from Georgia and was going to go to Florida for college so he might like being in the Central Florida area.

Earl Barron - A lanky player from the Heat who I think would fit in next to Dwight. He did okay with the Heat last year and could be a valuable player off the bench.

DeSagana Diop - A legit 7 footer who has really good defensive skills. Just turned 26 so he can still develop into a good center in the league. Patrick could work with his jumpshot, allowing the Magic to move Dwight to the 4 at times and save him a little on the defensive end.

What about Joel Anthony, he played very well against us when we played the short handed Heat, plus they may have Marion and Beasley and Haslem so they wont have a need for him.

I like Herrmann also he played well at the end of the season one year for the Bobcats, hes got a good outside shot he could fit in this system.

There is always BoomJay BoomJay!!
