I understand where you're coming from on a J.J. trade. You never liked the pick.

But why do you want this deal?

For all the dissatisfaction you have with the franchise for its moves, sometimes you want them to acquire the strangest players. Williams has stunk as an NBA player. It's got nothing to do with him playing behind Jason Kidd. That should have been an opportunity for him to win a starting job when they eventually traded Kidd. But no, they demanded a point guard in the deal, and they can't wait to get rid of Williams (and apparently have had a tough time finding another team that wants to take him on too because they have been trying to trade him for a while).
