Flat out, the kid is a talented knucklehead who will probably get close to the same thing MP did in terms of money because of the status of the market...and realistically I would bet that Orlando never had a shot at him...

Which is why I - even if JR is marginally more talented - prefer MP.

I totally agree. It is pretty simple. I will take a little less talented player who will fit in the system and not cause problems any day of the week. The last thing we need is someone to mess with the team chemistry, chuck up terrible shots, and get in trouble with the law.

I like MP over JR for our team. JR is the better offensive guy and esp with the dunks and such, but was offense really our problem?? MP is a better on the ball defender and doesn't seem to get into those woe-is-me slumps like JR does. I wouldn't mind JR don't get me wrong, but props again to Otis by not changing the core and just making additions where they are needed.
