Pure saftey signing this one, and a good one at that.

It never hurts to have a veteren banger defender with playoff experience on the team ... better still one that knows our system!

I dont expect anything from him except a couple of fouls maybe a "tear" of 4 rebounds once in a while, but with this many roster spots still there, you can argue with this signing.

Sure we could have gone [maybe we still can / will] go for a younger model - but at the end of the day I still look at Gortat as our next big man project, and with Rashard still looking like that starting PF, Battie, Cook and Gortat as backups wont see much time for another young'un to get time/develop - that said can never hurt to have them thrown down at the bottom of the roster [well not hurt us..]

This is a 3rd stringer at best, I'd still like to get a good 2nd forward behind Dwight if we can [over Battie/Gortat], but at this stage we have more depth really than last year in the forwards [and more ability really] we need that 3rd PG.

The Magic are paying Foyle less than a minimum salary, and the league picks up the difference. For that salary, I LOL laugh at you LOL's :)

Basketball is driven by three principles:

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
