Eh... I think Hezonja will be better than both TBH. Or more useful in the backcourt with Payton, unless Oladipo further improves his 3

This seems to happen almost every summer. A player says one positive thing about LA or NY and some fans just panic. Doesn't help that we have some here who deliberately exaggerate it for their own personal entertainment. The same will happen with AG after a few years since he goes out there often. The most annoying part is big market media will eventually run with it at some point in the season - "Sources say Oladipo wants to play for Lakers."

Magic fans are like that insecure boyfriend that actually drives away the girl that wants to stay with them cause they keep accusing them of false rumors and they get sick of it.

Didn't Harris say how much he loves NY and wouldn't mind playing there a few times. How could he not have signed there? I bet the Knicks could have offered the same money this past off season if they wanted to.

Seriously, just because a person says they like the 2nd biggest city in the country doesn't mean they have their bags packed.

Also being that hes being interviewed by the LA media, its not like hes going to say LA sucks...

dude, he's allowed to like other cities. it's not a black and white world of "all in on Orlando" or "can't wait to get out of Orlando".

basketball is a business, not a religion. players know they can get traded at any moment without control over where they go, so why not allow them the freedom of liking where they are in the offseason?

he's not leaving here for another 5-6 years unless we decide to move him. he's not taking a qualifying offer at the end of his rookie deal and sacrificing millions of dollars just to play in LA, because this league is a business.

Players like, in order, i) getting paid, ii) winning, and iii) being "The Man." If Orlando is winning and it is because Oladipo is an All Star, he will get paid, and will not go anywhere. If Orlando is not winning, then shipping off Oladipo to LA would be part of a reboot, anyhow.

He also said he liked the nickname, ORLANDIPO. It would be pretty hard to have that nickname playing somewhere else.

The Spurs have paid Tim Duncan $234,709,155 to date. Dirk Nowitzki has gotten $212,038,467 from the Mavs.
