If they showed the pre-season games, there'd be about 10 people actually at the game. I'm sure that plays a large part in it.

that line of thinking is a bit dated though...the audience (and market / $) is global now

Don't they want eyes on their product?

Vuc, Fournier and Hezonja all bring their country's national team / bb audience + potential fans from every college and region that Magic players came from...former Orlando residents that live in other cities etc...its inexpensive advertising

I'm betting that interested non local #'s exceed actual attendance...and I'm betting that seeing a pre-season game online sparks curiosity to attend a live one or subscribe to league pass...especially if you piggy back social media campaigns and screens shots with specific offers for online viewers

Stats will be had tomorrow, ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
The future is bright 8-) Payton said. ``I just want to keep getting better and maybe one day I can be the all-time all assists leader for the Magic.’’

What's worse is League Pass doesn't even offer all the pre-season games...little things like that irk me and is probably why I won't be buying it. In this day and age every game played in the NBA should be accessible to watch.

I don't think its a PR/marketing thing, I'm sure its a cost/tv licensing issue.

In an interview this week, David Steele said he'll be courtside with Jeff Turner. Being preseason, I think the color announcers also need practice to get back into the swing of things so my guess is the whole production team will use tomorrow's game as a practice run; meaning, I'll bet anything there will be a jumbotron feed. And seeing how one of the next few games will be on FSF, no way they use an actual televised game as a practice run to dust off the webs.

Way to rationalize, golf clap for that one but I'm hoping you're right. I WANT TO SEE THIS GAME
