T Jones is eligible for a 25% of cap deal which is about 22.25m so its a little less, but at least he'll be in his prime throughout it.

If Howard opts out to chase bigger $ available with cap inflation, that puts Houston in a bind as they also have to deal with D Mo and T Jones as RFA's...there might be a sliver of opportunity to get him at less than max if the offer sheet is timed right.

Jones wont command anything close to a max.

I'm hoping $14-16M might do it. Just have to hope he's not compared to Tristan Thompson. Then he will get the max. lol

T Jones >>>> Thompson and he got 5/82 million (5 x 16.4m).

he'll get way more than 14-16m

Thompson had some major bargaining power belonging to Lebron's agency. But we'll see. I wouldn't be one bit surprised if he got more. As I said, he might get the max... to which tiderulz disagreed.
