Richt, 145 wins in 15 years.

Uga has never really had a sustainable NC contending team.

Richt probably ends up at UM if he wants the job.

UGA getting rid of Richt, has been a long time coming. Yes he did win 145 games, but in the SEC, it's all about winning SEC Championships and competing for National Championships. He won 2 SEC championships in his first 7 seasons at UGA, none in his last 8 years. 2-4 in SEC Championship games, 9-5 in bowl games and no National Championships.

yeah, i live in Atlanta. I watched the fans blame everything on Bobo (who was putting up record numbers on offense), because they didnt want to believe Richt was at fault. He goes to CSU and does decent for a 1st time HC. And UGA was absolutely horrid on offense. Richt also had a hard time disciplining his players. Spurrier said it glibly, he liked playing UGA the 1st or 2nd game of the year because they usually had a handful of players suspended.

GA has a lot of athletic talent that UGA usually gets the pick of. He always seemed to lose a game every year that he had no business losing. And the past few years, kept doing gimics. Blackouts, whiteouts, the players rushing the field at the UF game. But UGA had better bet careful, Tennessee let go of Fulmer and they are still trying to recover years later.

Says the guy who makes a Gaytor crack. Good one, bro. Any more gems from your 1990's cutdown booklet? How about a your mama joke?

As for the game, credit where it's due to the Noles -- ya'll destroyed us. Ever since the Vanderbilt game, I'd had this one circled as a "we're screwed" game. Gators will bounce back next year after we throw Treon out with the rest of the trash, though. Bank on it.
