Aaron Gordon vs Los Angeles Clippers 05.12.2015 (…: http://youtu.be/ODu-vkmODTk

He's so much more decisive this season and quick to read the floor. I'm really impressed.

Still feel his position is PF once his body matures... Since he has the ability to play defense on all 5 positions, the Magic should take advantage of him offensively with him at that position. Plus, he's really improved his shooting to the point where I think in a few years it will be respectable.

This is underwhelming :o ? you must be talking about a different Tobias Harris...

if you want to say his 3pt shooting has regressed, then ok...but to be putting up the numbers and efficiency he is right now - all while being 6th on the team in USG and 6th in FGA's - that's definitely not underwhelming.

Last year, when he was healthy, it seems that Tobias' low-scoring games were 17 ppg or so and his high-scoring bursts were around 25 ppg. This year his scoring has hit lows of about 10 ppg and highs of about 19, excluding the overtime game against the Thunder and a 24-point effort in a blowout loss against the Kings.

Unlike last year when he was performing poorly, a lack of explosiveness doesn't immediately jump out to me. Do you have any idea why he's 6th in usage rate and field goal attempts? I can understand why he'd be behind Vucevic in those stats. I can understand Payton leading Tobias in usage, though I'm not sure that should be happening. In a game like the Clippers' matchup, I can understand Oladipo coming in front of Harris on usage and FGA. But who else is taking precedence over Harris?
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

Tobes and Dipo and Nicholson off the bench with

Elf
Fournier
AG
Frye
Vuc starting

Eventually Hezonja takes Fourniers spot in the starting lineup and all is well :)

Tobias Harris is buying into Coach Skiles Team First style of winning.

I think that's all on Skiles telling him that's his role. I hate it. I want Skiles to open up the playbook for AG. Unless it's a fast break, all he seems to do on every possession is run to the corner 3 and then when something break downs, he's hustling to pick up the scraps after a missed shot. Nothing set up or designed around him to score otherwise.

And someone pointed out a lot of his attempts come late in the clock kind of as a last option. Could we at least run some backdoor plays off screens like one poster said or have him get faced up in the post push his defender forward then back up for a lob ala alllll those years with Dwight and Jameer?

I think/hope Skiles is just taking it slow with AG. I know he said one of the things he wanted to do as a HC was to "eliminate the questions". Making sure that every player knew what their role was and what they needed to do while on the floor so instead of players blaming each other, they would be at a point where they would recognize the mistake and say "my bad" first.
