The last few pages on this thread were interesting to read to say the least. AG will get his minutes against the Cavs on Friday. Hopefully in that game, he can carve out his niche so that he can elevate himself in the rotation. Looking at the game again, Phoenix did make a point to close out hard on both Frye and Drew so that definitely mucked up things for them on that front. Definitely gonna need Frye to hit shots on Friday to open up the offense a little bit more.

It's insane isnt it? We've made so much progress this year, and yet people are still unsatisfied. We need to distribute some xanax.

We could alternate wins and losses for the rest of the season and end up 42-40 for a 17 game improvement over last year. Some of us on here need to stop worrying about December playoff standings and just enjoy the ride.

Are the ones worrying stop you from enjoying that ride?

Nope, but the constant panic and doom and gloom over every single close loss gets tiring when this is the only place I can talk about my favorite team.

Teletovic, I had a feeling he'd light us up. Not to mention Jon Leuer and Alex Len. Oh well. Time to panic and trade everyone for a bag of chips,

Maybe we should just keep posting a picture of a naked 95 year old man, and ask if that is also preventing people from enjoying the forum?

We've already equaled our Western Conference road wins from last season. I think we had zero the season before that.

As I'm looking through previous years, the losing streaks are a sight to see. Astonishing.

Saw the game finally. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting. That surge in the final 5 minutes of play was pretty damn good. Just a shame we couldn't seal the deal.

We actually defended the perimeter pretty well compared to how the boxscore makes it look. Nearly every Teletovic 3 had a hand in front of it. Can't do much more than that.

Jon Leuer taking Frye off the dribble though... lol. Embarrassing.

Payton's stuff up was just a stuff up. It happens.

I've been here a long time, I talk about a lot of different things. I have opinions and I express them like everyone else here does. That's all I've got to say on it. I don't have to defend myself to the likes of you who is basically a glorified troll these days.

I'm glad some of you noticed we got hosed there. I can't believe nobody on the Magic bench made a stink of that. What was there a minute left and it was tied? There was no possession until there was a jump ball with less then a second on the shot clock. There should have only been a second or less on the shot clock when the jump ball went up. It completely cost us the game because they got the tip and got a couple of FTs out of the possession. I was yelling at my tv. I ran shot clock for the girls team at my college so I know what I speak of!

Still almost won though. Guys don't quit gotta give them credit.
The hero Orlando deserves is out there somewhere, Dwight was not the one we needed. So we will hunt for him...

We've made a lot of these excuses in the 5 winnable games we've lost. It's not going to fly when we're sitting outside the playoff race by 2 games. It's harder to swallow when we have leads or possessions to take leads and just lose it without it being a fatigue issue. Skiles wouldn't make this excuse.

That being said, we still went 3-2 on the road trip, but we need to take advantage of these next two weeks of games because we have a nasty schedule later on in the season.

I get that point too. It would be great for us to always achieve excellence. I'm just of the opinion that this is the first year any of these guys have had a real NBA caliber coach.

Maybe we aren't a playoff team for real yet. I'm not going to go nuts when we lose a close game that we probably would have been lucky to win in the first place.

I'm definitely hoping for us to make the playoffs, but that's also not all in our control. Within the last three seasons, we'd probably be 5th or 6th comfortably in the East standings right now with our current record.

I think we're going to be in the playoffs when all is said and done, but I don't expect it with confidence. We don't have a star and the guys we thought could be stars are very "meh" at the moment.

well, at least they've admitted they screwed up: http://on.nba.com/1QzYLSQ

01:49.0 Turnover: 24 Second Violation
Orlando never gains possession prior to the 24 Second Violation by Phoenix. The shot clock was incorrectly reset for the ensuing jump ball.

yeah... still crazy that they missed something so obvious and that no one on our side even said anything about it.

the report has that as the only incorrect non-call against us compared to the 2 that went against the suns. hm.
