It's similar to what we saw last season when we started going to him more... two consecutive months of 22 pts on 55% fg. Only reason he fell off is because Borrego decided to slide him to PF and start Dedmon at C. Big difference seems to be passing... Vuc looks a lot more comfortable in that regard and should be able to punish teams if they consistently double him.
For his "iso" offensive game i agree (when we give him the ball in the paint 7-8 seconds before the shot clock expiration, then he had to take position and make a shot with is panel of move because the play in place didn't work) but he is now above average in the passing game (i think his friendship with Fournier is the key here) and is light ahead of last year defense (which is not hard given what his defense was last year). He also have a better feeling in the right spot to take in the paint, he known when to take a step back at right time to let the lane free for the slasher (like I said before, mostly with Fournier).
Last year, he was near All-Star level only with is offensive game, then I think now, with a upgrade at passing and defense, he is the second big in the East behind Drummond (who is his opposite, very good defense and decent offense).
If the coach want two big, he will be in, if not, he will be the first sub for the interior position.
