Its 15mil for one year which wouldnt have any impact on our cap. And the benefits of his time spend with Vic Elf Mario etc would be priceless. His on court production isnt really relevant.

:o green font?

Nope. The reason we have been hammered by good teams is 100% mental, and only a little bit to do with talent. We need someone who has been there in the biggest moments to show these guys how to be and how to act and how to think. Refining the mental approach to the game is what takes these guys to the next level. If that costs us $15 mil or whatever to get a guy like PP here for one season in a Kevin Garnett/Minnesota type role, then so be it. He would basically be an assistant coach on the court.

And if its for 1 year, it has no impact on our FA aspirations the following offseason.

It absolutely does have cap implications...it affects what RFA's the Magic can resign; plus it affects the Magic's capacity to absorb salary in a trade..

We'll have to disagree here.
