Guys,

It's all about the drawing for the top-3 picks.

Even if The Lakers are top-3 going into the lottery, does not mean they will be top-3 coming out of it.

Can I get a definitive ruling on this situation.

If the Lakers keep their pick in 2016, but give their pick to Philly in 2017, do the Magic get their 2019 pick?

Yes!

The Lakers need to not draw a top three pick in the lottery in one of the next two years or The Magic get two seconds.

The stakes are very high as they could be a VERY nice pick.
