Emergency Game thread - Magic @ Hawks

I didn't watch the game, but I am seeing from the boxscore that Hezonja and Gordon played a lot of time and got plenty of shots. Why isn't everyone happy despite the loss? Isn't that what nearly everyone here wanted most of all?

The box score doesn't do justice of what was seen last night. I don't think any Magic fan wants to see them go out there and look lifeless even if it means Mario and Air Gordon get more minutes.

Our defense has completely fallen off the radar compared to prior months. It's cringeworthy.

Most people here are upset that Skiles pulled our starters last night after we brought it to 6. It really made no sense. Also he pulled Gordon in garbage time when he was actually playing well... How's the guy ever going to get comfortable if he can't even stay in games that are blow outs.

Just heard Dipo isn't going to play tonight against the Sixers. Not good. They've been slightly better since Ish joined them.

Also heard that AG could finally be in the SL soon. Would love that move! Been hoping for that since the end of last season. He's due a chance as a starter. He's gotten more time of late and has been consistently good. Especially at grabbing boards.

Really hope Hennigan is working the phones at least for Fournier. I'd also send him a box of fine wine if he dealt Vuc, but that's just me . Having said that, unfortunately Skiles is rapidly moving to the top of my list on things I'm worried about with this team.

I wouldnt mind if we had a more athletic and active center

I woudnt mind having Hakeem Olajuwon in his prime either.Wishfull thinking.
He is what he is and its still a miracle he develop this nice,unless you want to call that Dwight Howard trade a loss for us theres no other way around it.Last few years everybody proved we won the trade and got the best player in Vuc and young Hark now Hark is gone for peanuts and Vuc isnt looking so good to many of you.Maybe that trade wasnt such a win after all?

What about **** Tobias Harris?! Our highest paid player? The last six games he's had one good game against Toronto. The other times you forget hes even out there. Every one of these guys needs to step it up. Its about time we stop blaming individual players promote personal agendas.

Right now I'd bench Harris for AG straight up and the only reason I wouldn't bench Vooch is because of the huge drop off in talent behind him. Hell, Mario played with more energy than Fournier too. I know Skiles is trying to win games so he wont make drastic knee jerk moves but I'd be fine seeing AG and Mario out there just because I'm pissed off at everyone else.

You just singled out Harris in the same paragraph and suggest he should be benched even though he's been playing great defense all season and being 5th on the totem pole in shot attempts per/36 and in usage. It's one thing to want to start Gordon, but at least be smart enough to tell which one of the cousins should actually be benched.

What are you expecting from Harris, a guy who's mainly a scorer who is the 5th option on a bad offense that is only good at creating long 2's for our centers?

Check the damn stats. Harris has the highest defensive win shares on the team and second in overall win shares. Do some homework before you open your mouth to spew garbage, clown.
