Bender seems like a young Pau to me, which would be a great get. However, I doubt we will be picking high enough to get him, and I'm not willing to consolidate many assets for a hope and a prayer.
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

Right now the Kings are at pick 40, and I doubt they improve so much that they pick 56 in 2017(Clippers this year.) The Blazers pick is also protected 31-55, but at least 3 years later.

So we basically took cash from them in exchange for saving them some luxury tax space this year, while giving them a 2020 pick that could convey. I wonder how much cash???

2017 second round draft pick from Sacramento
Sacramento's 2017 2nd round pick to Cleveland (via Boston) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Boston-Sacramento, 2/24/2011; Boston-Cleveland, 9/25/2014]

Basically, what this trade was, at least from the Magic's side is a roster spot they won't even use next year nor 3 years from now and a bag of cash that the Magic can use to fuel their plane or whatever. No real loss or gain from our end.

I have a hard time believing teams will trade a high lottery pick/potential franchise player for Vucevic/Harris and a mid-first.
