Yeah, which never really made sense to me. Even if Philly is tanking right now, for example, their still only going to be marginally better next season unless they draft/sign a star.

We have been in the same position the past 4 years; our young guys get a little better, but we don't have a star. It's our fanbase that always assumes the Magic are doing THIS, or Rob is doing THAT. Bottom line is, we're still one of the youngest teams in the league and need a true, legitimate 'win games in the 4th' type of star if we want to be a real team.

On that note, not having that type of star is what ultimately kept the Dwight-era Magic from winning a championship (debatable, I know).

Not really his fault; Aaron showed a huge stride in development and Skiles decided to ride him over Nicholson. But when we started losing, skiles completely swapped out the two. I think Nicholson will come back for more minutes if we keep losing, but at this point either AG, Harris, or Frye need to begin sucking.
Favorite Magic players of all time:
1. Dennis Scott
2. Andrew Nicholson
3. Anthony "no-neck" Johnson

Trade deadline is not the greatest time to trade young guys, so I'll wait for the draft and free agency to see how we can fix this roster stuff.

At this rate, our players will tank their value by draft night.
