Re: Loser's Mentality
The play during last game vs. Clippers where CP3 just strolls by our whole team for an easy layup, and then after you can see the body language on our guys, only AG looks upset about the play, the rest are all losers imo. I would hold on to AG and Hezonja (only because his first year) the rest can be traded and I wouldn't care or be surprised at all...

Re: Loser's Mentality
I would not agree that all others are losers, you have too look on the backround and focus is on defence, team needs changes i agree but changes need to start with offensive minded Assistant Manager for better production and better reckognizing of what current players can do and how they can perform, in what roles they are effective more etc, now team is very very limited, this Nba era is not aboud D its small ball, more points and speed, energy, focus on D is needed but what when you play good D and on offense you can capitalise wich we could see in many many games so far. Tobias is playing limited, Evan played really good first part of the season and then he disappears and that guy Frye is not bad but also not good enough for S lineup, offense is the problem not D. Hope things will change soon and we realize that PO is lost this year and turn our focus of adding some new fresh quality players and start to develop our youngest core and prepare for the next season and start from zero with more better offensive scemes and more energy, overal more then this current vacum and bad streak wich i dont really know how much it would last.

Vucevic may not be the best defender.. But he definitely doesn't have a losing mentality. I was at the LAC game, he was the most emotional magic player on the court. This team just becomes really frustrated during their scoring droughts.

Being emotional doesn't equate to not having a losing mentality.
I think all of our main 5 (Vuc, Harris, Fournier, Oladipo and Payton) have had their moments where they've turned it up a gear in the 4th and carried the team. But they've also all had plenty of lapses and games where they disappear.
Right now it's about composure and having the patience to return to your playbook and the plays that have done you well all night, but we often fall into either Oladipo, Fournier, Harris or Payton playing hero ball whilst the others stand around and watch. Someone needs to make sure each player keeps moving, sticking to their routes and moving the ball, but instead the instinct is to try and get the job done yourself and prove you're the franchise player.

I think hezonja is that swagger for 4th and he doesn't play dump,I mean he is willing to pass the ball
Now he is just in the learning mode and coach doesn't let him play more but soon...

I think that patience is still the key with a new coach, young players, and system changes.
However, I do think it's time that Skiles define his future core and stick with the first 8 to let them figure "closing games out".
Personally, I doubt much if anything happens before the trade deadline .... But there are roster issues.

Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

I mean you folks are all watching, do they look like a cohesive 5-man unit? It's night and day from now and back in late-November, early-December.
Adam is in the locker room, I assume every home game at least, so I'll go with his opinion on this.
I personally think we have some losers on the team who are selfish and feel like if they were getting shots and more minutes we wouldn't be losing. Mentally I think this is on Oladipo/Harris/Fournier and physically I think Vuc and Payton are killing us in their own ways.
Look at the guys who will not pass the ball when a team mate is wide open. We know Mario, Tobias, Vuc, EP will always pass the ball. Dipo does not have the instincts. I believe Fournier is the main culprit being in a contract year. I'm sure there are others but yes ball movement stopped a long time ago. Something has to happen soon or more people will be tuning out. I was glued to every game this year win or lose because I felt we were always in the game. Now I'm checking in once in a while to catch glimpses of the game.
The first bolded line, Im thinking sure. Then the seconded bolded line lets me know you dont know what your talking about.
