Reminds me a bit of Jimmy Butler for some reason.

Reminds me of Paul George more than Butler. Perfect for Vogel

Im driving the Luwawu train. Whos on board. Best wing player in the draft after the top 2 possibly

I like him, but I wonder if it isn't best that he continues his development overseas. He looks like he has great potential at both ends, but he needs a lot of refinement at the offensive end.

I think it would be fine for him to come over immediately. Developing under NBA trainers and Chad Forcier would probably be better than developing in Serbia.

Those 2 things are unrelated. No reason to trade the vet center just to make way for a rookie.

I not saying that we are trying to make way for a rookie. Rather, I feel one of the targets this summer will be to get a starting center that play defense. I feel that Vuc will at best be coming off the bench this season. Poeltl and Vuc are very similar players and Poeltl will cost less. Why not have him come off the bench for half the price, upgrade the center position in free agency, and use Vuc to get some other pieces that we might need. Besides, weren't there already reports that the Magic were shopping him around a few days ago?

Vucevic and Poeltl really aren't similar though.

There are a few names people here are talking about that I have ZERO interest in. Luckily, no mock draft has these players going in the top 15 so I don't think I have to worry here.

Out of the realistic names people are discussing... For the first time in 4 years I really have no lean in any direction. Given the reputation Henny and Vogel have, I will be happy with any of the hand full of big men expected to go in the #8-13 range.

Poeltl seems like a less athletic and not as long Porzingas and we all know how much Rob loved Porzingas.

I think we might be a little surprised tonight but I have a feeling a deal will be made with at least one of the second round picks.

A lot of Mocks are going to be busted tonight.

I dont care who we draft as long as that player becomes a superstar.

You never know.

All I know is two second rounders aren't coming to camp.

I would love to snag Wayne Selden or Chris LeVert with our second round pick both guys who will be solid scoring bench wings in the league especially LeVert who is first round talent when healthy.

I get that Mario can play SF, but I don't agree with this idea that we have sooo many SFs.

If anything we have a bunch of SGs that can play the position. Oh and that is probably one of our weakest positions defensively between Evan and Mario.

Yeah we need Big man depth and a scoring PG but we are in luck! There are a lot of bigs and pgs that do exactly that. You know what there aren't a lot of in free agency? 3's that can also play 4 with a high motor and great defensive instincts.

That's exactly what I'm saying. Fournier, Oladipo and even Hezonja are 2's who can mask as 3's for stretches of the game. Prince is a true 3 who can mask as a 4 and sometimes a 2 as well. The positional overlap isn't going to be a issue with him.

There are no bigs outside of Deyonta Davis that are even remotely worth drafting in our range (I don't believe in Skal or Chriss). He's projected to go 16th to the Celtics right now. If we trade 11 for Denver's 15 and 19, then you could conceivably draft Davis and Prince. This also gives us the ability to not extend Fournier if he gets too pricey.

We also have 40+ million to fill in the gaps this summer. I'm not too worried about finding big man depth or a scoring PG.

You're boxing yourself into only wanting Prince. It's not healthy. :D

You're right. I'll take Ibaka as a consolation prize.

David Steele replied to a comment on Twitter stating that he's "pretty sure (Ibaka's) viewed as more than a 1 yr. rental."

I'd agree with David.

Like what Zack Lowe wrote:

For the past half-decade, we've all obsessed over the unicorn big man who can both shoot 3s and protect the rim. If you crafted a frontcourt partner to balance the weaknesses of Orlando's Nikola Vucevic, you would design that sort of player. The Magic just got that guy, and people are laughing at them.
