Whiteside + Ibaka?

Yeah, we'd struggle on offense, which is an issue we will already have unless we see some big steps from some of the guys.

We signed Ibaka to pair with Vuc, if we were going to sign a defense center we would have gotten a better offensive PF.

Ibaka is actually pretty good offensively. His offensive game often gets over-looked because of where he was but actually he can score and even shoot it fairly well from 3 point land. As for Whiteside while he may not have Vuc's shooting ability he is more athletic and can get to the basket and score at a good clip.

I Would love this or any defensive center, but the three remaining positions would have to be scorers. Elfrid I thik can be if he has the green light. Scott Skiles didnt give him the green light. James Berrego did though. The two and 3 Spots are up in the air.

I think Henny talks to all Agents, but I doubt he is talking to anyone about Whiteside now that he has Ibaka with about 30 other teams also talking to Whitesides agent.

You're acting like Whiteside is a scrub on offense. He's not. He is a great finisher around the rim and put up 17 ppg per 36 and a lot of people thought Miami should have gotten him more involved.

Think OKC vs MIA Finals... Lebron and Wade had free reign in terrorizing their way to the basket. Ibaka could guard Bosh from the stretch 4 spot, but that left the inside wide open where Perkins was constantly abused. You need a defensive C to win championships against Lebron.

Said it before the trade... Vuc is a great player to bring off the bench. The same thought remains. If we can't get Whiteside, then Horford needs to be chased. I like Boban too. Mahinmi seems like a last resort FA. If not, we need to trade for a post defender. Sounds like Tyson Chandler could be seeking a buy out. Wouldn't mind chasing him. He still produced last season.

What did Whiteside ever do that makes him a bad egg?

I recommend you visit the Heat board and read their weekly log of crazy antics. Dude probably talks about how great he is a couple times a week. He is not the team player people make him out to be chemistry wise. That is why he has alienated himself from the entire league prior to the Heat signing him. How can anyone not notice? Riley being a disciplinarian type of GM that commands respect has been able to control him. Wait and see if he goes elsewhere with a weak minded GM. Henny seems to want high character players which Whiteside seems to be the opposite of. Henny won't even waste his time competing with 30 other teams.
