Living in Texas for the past 7 years has given me the opportunity to experience both of these groups. I have grown to understand and have no issue with the first while I dispise the second. The first group often consists of people who truly understand the responsibility of gun ownership. But our country is working hard to pull away from segration. You can't tell some people they have a right to do something and others that they can't. It has to be all or nothing. While I have come to understand the first group, I don't think the benefits they get from guns is enough to outweighs the negatives caused by the second group.
Start by banning everything beyond hand guns and hunting rifles and open up the floor for a conversation and research on safety measures. Do that and we can reach compromise. But no. The low class fools need their toys more than their children.
