I've probably only seen half as I have no inclination to watch after I've woken up and found out we've lost!

What exactly does tanking correctly mean though? I don;t really buy that. The ping pong balls just didn't go our way.

We would have got extra balls if we didn't fire Vaughn as we picked up a few wins under Borrego

But its a lottery. Your judging after you know the results of the lottery. Tanking is putting your self in position to get the top picks. We did that. 2013 we had the best odds, 2014 we had 3rd best odds, 2015 we had the 5th best odds. We were right in striking distance it just didn't work out. Last year the lottery went in perfect order. If the lottery went in order in 14 we would have Embid. Just unlucky.

It means having one of the worst 2 records in the league so you nearly guarantee a top 3 pick. We won too many games after the Oladipo pick to ever get someone high impact.

Debatable. I never heard anything official that they were shopping him. Even if they were its a hard to give up value for a big guy with two surgeries on his foot. I'm strikly talking about the draft. We never know if they woulda picked him at 3 but my point still remains we were unlucky in the lottery.

using google doesnt hurt
I remember they started to shop him summer 2015 or even earlier already when they learned he will miss 2nd year ...
there were some teams interested but it was reported they want too much for him he bacame untradable from both standpoins... they wanted almost full value...and for potential buyers ...it was too much to give up for potential Oden so no trade ever materialised but the topic was beaten to death ...since 2014/15 deadline and heated in2015 summer ...I sit on NBA rumors sites almost 24/7 so I know what Im talking about.

and many more I belive they would have trade him for our 5th that year ....just nobody wanted to take a risk...

The competition for tankers was thick though. We has respectable tank records. It just wasn't enough. We had good young talent with Dipo Harris and Vuc. Those guys played hard, you only expect to but so much unless your wiling to straight tell guys to lose on purpose. When Dipo put up big numbers and we won you couldn't be mad. We thought maybe he was gonna be our star.

I stand corrected. Still don't see your point in regards to tanking and the lottery.
