The Magic are scoring 106.6ppg over their last 10 games. The lack of a definitive play maker hurts us badly at times, but lately Vogel has been getting the most he can out of what he has to work with.

Our offense has been good but our defense has fallen off... when this team finally can put it all together.. watch out we will start blowing teams out. If our defense can get to the leve of that road trip again .. with the way our offense is playing we will be a difficult team to beat.

It is weird to see us go from being all defense and no offense to all offense and no defense. Last 7 games we're 8th in offense and last in defense in the league during that span. :dontknow:

When we finally figure out a balance, watch out. We're not gonna keep this offensive pace all season long. Our defense has to tighten up again. That has to be our #1 area of consistent play.

Went to the game. In my opinion, everything turned in the third quarter when they teed up Elf and Vooch back to back near the end of the third Q.

That really fired up the crowd and they were intense the rest of the way. Strong atmosphere in the 4th for sure and the guys fed off that.

That's what happens when you put together a roster of below average to average offensive players. They expend so much energy on one end that they don't have enough left in the tank for the other end. You need naturally gifted offensive players and then coach them defense, not the other way around.

That must have been a good game to go to. Haven't seen the crowd that into a game in a while. We need to show more support that way! I would loved to be there close to see Fournier and his trash talking.

Let's keep in mind it was VS the Brooklyn Nets, I don't see any positives out of playing this opponent other than just beat this team who we are supposed to beat.

Is it me or are guys like Elf, Vuc, AG, and Evan getting feisty and playing with attitude? I've criticized the team for being too nice but they are playing with some edge, please keep it going. Evan making that 3 and then jawing at that dude was awesome. Let's be rude.

Evan played with a bit of an attitude in previous seasons. We haven't seen it as much this season, so it was good to see him pumped up last night.

Evan has always been a competitor. That I have always liked about him. EP has always been the most soft spoken guy in the team. Quiet and says only what he needs to. AG is similar. Just followed orders and didn't bark much. This year it's different. EP getting techs and getting in refs face, AG standing for biz when he got knocked down. I love it tbh. The makeup of good teams always has guys who have your back. Didn't see this last year.

^^NEM's on the right track, IMO.

I think it's fair to say we don't have enough two-way talent to be consistently strong on offense AND defense at the same time.

We're giving up about 108ppg over the last 10 games, while scoring around 106ppg. When we were scoring in the mid-90s, we were giving up less than 100ppg. Realistically, I'd only expect elite teams to be top-10 in BOTH categories at the same time.
