Most would agree Vogel > Skiles.

Most would agree Ibaka > Oladipo.

Most would agree AG and Payton have both improved.

What went wrong?

This doesn't account for breaking up the previous chemistry between the guys we jettisoned(Harris, Oladipo, Frye) and the core guys we have left. Doesn't account for guys who are just playing for contract value or old guys who are forced to have to outplay new guys to have minutes at their position.

Vuc could have twice as many assists if he would pass the ball out more. He's not the only one Ibaka and Green do it also, Vucevic just gets more opportunities and draws a double team where he just opts to take a bad shot many times.

In the last month and a half he's had 6 or 7 games with 5 or 6 assists while taking 13 or less shots. Vuc is not the one being selfish. And he would have more assists if guys would knock down threes more consistently regardless of how many shots he's taking.

He gets more opportunities for assists. If you watch closely he'll take a few bad shots a game while someone is wide open for a 3.

What went wrong was trading a key part of our team in Tobias for nothing and replaced it for jeff green.

I like hennigan, but whatever the thought process was on the Tobias deal, it definitely has effects on this team until now. Tobias was like a 16ppg every night, and we traded him for expirings.

Frye and Ola wouldnt really matter. I think iBaka would have replaced Frye and Ola is meh...

This can't be good for Hennigan.

He's gone. His last card to dangle was trying to re-sign ibaka but we've now learned ibaka is overrated. Can't pay him anything close to 30 mil.

Maybe his defensive presence was a bit overrated (can't tell, the whole team doesn't play defense together) but he has been the best player on the team. If he's overrated, then what is everyone else?

We gave up a young scorer/defender and a lotto pick for him, and we were planning to give him 30 mil per year this summer. Considering what he's given us on the floor in return I'd say he's overrated. Do you think he's earned a max contract? Do you want to keep him or trade him?

I agree. I really like Vuc but he has no leadership qualities and he is one of the first to start going thru the motions and quit when they other team is making a big run. Reality is we have too many nice guys like him that are introverts, are not good communicators and are unable to lead. This team has no rudder, just aiming listlessly into obvlivion.

This team has regressed horribly. Barring a miracle at the trade deadline, I think Hennigan will be gone this summer.
