Sick of people jealous of Philly. This fanbase has zero patience for that type of rebuild. Just read a game thread here and see for yourself. Guys turn on players after one bad play.

Embiid was a pick we could not have made. Our fanbase would have melted down. Remember when he got fat? Imagine the panic on these boards. People would have skewered Rob. Philly is a town with pro teams all over the place. They can watch the Flyers/Eagles/Phillies and come back when the 76ers are ready. Orlando has nothing but the Magic. People expect to win every season here because 80% of the fanbase is uneducated about NBA basketball.

I don't even post in game threads anymore.

This is why I don't get people who use dwindling attendances as a reason to go for the 8th seed in the playoffs.

Guess what? Crap teams who are crappy for a while get crap crowds (with a few exceptions, this is the case in pretty much all sports). When the winning starts again, the crowds come back.

It makes me laugh when people hail fan bases like the Raps and Celtics. Those buildings were empty in the doldrum years.

The problem going forwards will be the identity of this team and who we commit to long term. It's too early to lock in an expensive role player like Ibaka for big money, so he needs to go for youth in return.

Yes that is what I have been saying for a while. I was surprised people would dispute this point.

Yeah, I'll admit I'm quite late to the tank ride. I kept trying to hold out hope they'd find form. But that seems like the only real option right now.

People are saying that Dipo and Harris here this year means a better record but I have strong doubts. After we magically went 19-13 we went 16-34. That 50 game stretch was at a 32% winning clip. We suck with them and without them lol.
