He was benched because our offense in the starting lineup was awful. Vuc is a more balanced player right now, but he has less responsibility on the court compared to Biz. I think that is what people are not seeing. Vuc is not switching on to PGs and being tasked with as much helpside D as Biz.

my point is he wasn't effective enough to have a positive impact on the game with the exception of a few games. If Biz wasn't on the magic most magic fans would never think to give him a 17 million a year contract .

Oh ok, so you are a revisionist.

Let's go back last year and look at how many people were begging for rim protection again.

im not a revisionist, I was against it from the beginning. especially after we traded for ibaka. Most people outside of Orlando were critical of the Magic moves this past offseason and the results of the season are proving them right.
Biz is what he has always been a good back up, the problem is , we are paying him to be a highlevel starter.

We are paying him the going rate for a C in this league. We just happen to also have Vuc here or Biz would start more often.

we are paying him starting c money , the fact that we already have vooch, is even more reason we should have just paid dedmon to be our back up , instead of paying biz to start when we already have a starting c . Don't get me wrong I like
Biz and can't hate him for getting paid , just that imo it was Too much cAp space to use on a position we already have a starter in .
