Explanation... We have owner who want to win championship and doesn't want to wait. We have team that should of tanked for the last 2-3 years instead of trying to pretend we are playoff team. GM was forced to make moves that would bring a couple of wins insted of building for the future.

Although i've never considered "jumping ship" of following another team - it becomes increasingly difficult at this stage of the season to keep up the interest. I can never watch live at 1am (over here) , so have to avoid all social media for the entire day after the game to avoid the result. Come home after work and then negotiate with the wife to let me watch the game i've worked so hard to avoid the result of and pay the money for. Then after all that, we are down by 20 at HT in a game that really doesn't matter because the play off bubble burst long ago. It becomes harder and harder to justify doing night / day after day.
I'm a Sheffield United fan (**** football/soccer team) so am used to disappointment and failure. But the way the league encourages and promotes tanking and lack of competition by rewarding them in the draft means we have had this January / February brick wall for the last few years where all the excitement and enjoyment is gone - and the "deepest draft class in years" chatter starts like usual.
I envy local fans who get to go to the games because the stuff the UK fans have to go through each day for blowout after blowout is a nightmare. I respect the patience and commitment of the season ticket holders for their continued support.
We just want hope! that's all! Hope!

I'm a fan of Ipswich, even though I'm an American. This isn't lost on me either. It's really difficult to convey to Americans what makes the relegation/promotion system so appealing. It will never happen here, because the owners of professional franchises would never sacrifice the security and entitlement that they already have, but it makes every game so much more compelling for fans. Some of the most exciting matches are end-of-season clashes between teams at the bottom of the table. There is no bright side to losing. Every win provides a spark of hope. The owner may not invest ambitiously, but the organization would never stop trying to improve their fortunes by whatever means they have at their disposal.

I'm not happy with the direction of Ipswich right now. We have a manager that prefers veterans, grafters, and an ugly style of football. We have an owner of questionable ethics that hides from the public and refuses to invest the millions we bring in from transfer fees. This season has been a disappointment, yet I watch any match I can find a stream for because they all matter. The best reason I can come up with to watch an Orlando game right now is to hope they lose and improve our chances in the lottery.

I don't need a damn explanation. I was one of the few who thought our roster was going to be horrendous offensively and that we'd miss the playoffs. I already know whats wrong with this team. We lack elite players.
