I never liked the idea of tanking, it sets a bad precedent and culture.

But I'm all for it if it means we get a future guard star in this draft in Fultz, DSmith or Lonzo.

Sixers tanked viciously and had the worst culture in the nba. They seem fine to me right now. Talent trumps all in this league.

Tross shot pretty poorly and still ended up with 13 points. I think he has the potential to average 18-20 a game if he starts attacking the rim more.

I also believe he will be a better SG than Oladipo will. That is my bold prediction for today.

You keep saying this but the ball was taken out of Paytons hands and his minutes were cut as soon as Fournier came back. He was playing the best ball of his career before then and the team looked much better. He has every right to be disgruntled the way Vogel has treated him. Benching him seemingly for no reason for a guy who has been the worst player on the team the past 2 seasons.

People want to get on Payton for not being "engaged". Do you not realise the gameplan is to come down and run plays for Fournier and Vucevic? He's simply doing what the coach wants.

I'm not criticising Elf or saying he failed at all. I think he's every bit as good as Vuc/Fournier/Ross when he's given full reign, but I'm not convinced he's better than them.

The team loses whether Payton runs the team or Vuc/Fournier run it. Like I said, we've seen the Vuc/Fournier show before and I didn't really care for it then or now. I'd love to see Vogel hand the keys over to Elf, but it just doesn't look like it's gonna happen. I can't be bothered getting angry at Vogel over that. There's 24 games left in the season, there's a good chance we end up with a draft pick and position to take a new PG, and I would like to see Vuc and Fournier off the team, so I can make peace with them getting inflated opportunties if it helps showcase them for the offseason.

I think its safe to say Ross is a superior athlete compared to Oladipo and a better shooter, I think with some draft luck and a few tweaks to the roster we can be a playoff team next season. I like the idea of Fournier as our 6th mas as well.

Look at the sweater vest tally and tell me Elfrid isn't better than them when given full reign. Plays both ends and makes his teammates better. That's what you call winning basketball. Sounds to me you've just given up and our idiotic franchise has worn you down. Well, I feel the same honestly.

I disagree about Elf playing both ends of the floor. His defense has been underwhelming for the past 2 seasons imo. Much better than Fournier's but that doesn't say much.
