He is actually very smart. Jeff is the Tankster in Chief in stealth mode.

Ha...I think if orlando isn't in contention by next year Vogel is gong to quit.

I am pretty sure he has zero interest in tarnishing his rep further....

But tanking doesn't work if you don't know how to draft. So while I disagree with your thoughts on tanking, I do agree with you on us not having the right GM to draft right.

I would disagree, nothing about our GMs top draft picks shows he doesn't know how to draft. I was all in for Exum and very glad our front office saw Gordon as the better prospect. Elfrid is a good player, Oladipo was the right pick at that spot, Mario is starting to play better although you could argue he was a reach.

Hennigan deserves another draft, we just need to get in position to draft a star which is top 4 this year imo.

He doesn't know how to use the draft to build a team.

Drafts Oladipo and then trades him away. Fail.
Drafts Gordon and then flip flops for 3 years on what position he plays. Fail.
Drafts Elfrid over Lavine. Fail.
Drafts Mario over Turner and WCS and then gives $17M per year to Biyombo. Fail.

Pretty much this. Hennigan is the mother of all draft and development fails boys. The Mario and Biz plays alone would cost him his job in most other markets.
