Dude who hates contact, can't draw fouls and always uses off balance shots to score will never be reliable offensive weapon. Center with 49,6% TS , such a joke.

I don't think Vucevic is terrible but he is one player that has been here all five years of this rebuild. It's definitely time to part ways.

Hope vuc retires here

Could become a great stretch 5 once he work on his 3pt this summer

His 3pt is very good already, a full summer working on it will make wonders

How do you know he will spend his summer working on it?

Our record is still bad with AG at PF

Thats because it has Vucevic at C. We need to get rid of Vuc and find a center who can run, defend, block shots, and get out the of fking way on offense. Oh wait, thats Bizmack Biyombo!

Pretty good already? 26-94 for career?
19-68 this year (27,9%), puts him in same range as Payton and Gordon, both terrible 3 point shooters.

I swear some fans on bad teams develop some sort stockholm syndrome. They want better team but they have no will to part ways with anyone.

That's just Evan trying to protect his boy. Don't be so harsh.

Great post. Given the potential being shown late season, do you think we should fire Hennigan or keep him? To me, the only big mistake this franchise made was trying to force this team to win prematurely. We lost patience i think. If we could undo the last 12 months worth of win now moves and not have created this false belief we should be a playoff team, i think we would view this all a lot differently. Right now, AG and Elf are our entire team and unfortunately i dont think our management truly understood this until a few weeks ago. They are our timeline. Not Ibaka, not Vuc, not Evan.

Firing Hennigan because management had unrealistic expectations would be a real shame.

5 years of losing= goodbye Hennigan. 1 or 2 nice games at the end of another losing season doesn't cover the stench.

See i think that is flawed logic. AG and Elf are our true core, forget Ibaka and Vuc and Evan. This team is 100% about Elf and AG. Both of these guys are just about to finish their third seasons and are showing real signs of breaking out. Our coaching staff have done a great job getting them to be more consistent and play how we need them to play. Firing anyone right now is stupid. If you are upset and think we should be winning sooner than this then i think your logic is flawed and the only thing that needs to change is your expectations.

Elf and AG are right where any realistic person would have hoped they would be after 3 seasons, if not further ahead. That doesnt sound like a fireable offence to me.

I respectfully disagree. I see why the last few games might give a little sliver of hope but for me its more than just a few games that I am using to judge Hennigan.

5 years. Zero all-stars. No playoff berths. Questionable trades. 4 head coaches.
I want more. Maybe I got spoiled during the Penny/Shaq/ Tmac/ D12 years but this franchise has a high standard.

Elf and AG will never be all stars and will be solid complimentary players on a playoff team. I am glad they are playing well but we are going back into the lottery with another high pick. I am thrilled about picking high but really do you want Hennigan drafting again?
Orlando Magic are BACK!!!
