I feel if he was going to be fired wouldn't he have been already? I would like to think if you have plans to fire a gm you want to start the process of getting a new guy and then get ready for the draft as soon as possible . This draft is a very important one

You would think so. There is no benefit of leaving a guy twisting in the wind only to make a rushed decision later, but I think the search for a replacement is already underway. There were those rumors of potential candidates for replacement a couple weeks back, which I interpreted as smoke. The organization could've floated some rumors to gauge potential interest, or they might already have hired a firm to conduct a clandestine search.

Hopefully they are underway, maybe they're just waiting for the season to be over. Part of me feels bad for rob because we tried to rebuild through the draft but ended up just 1 spot outside landing impact players in recent drafts and getting dipo in a weak draft. Though i will say this if rob is gone i want alex gone too, package deal. So many decisions had alex martins written all over it, it was obvious seeing rob reluctantly grin through his teeth in that scott skiles hire press conference. Too many cooks in the kitchen, can't do that with the next GM.

Firing any GM without a replacement mid season doesn't really do anything except appease the fan base. I'll bet RH is canned the day after the last game. He is gone. 5 years of not just losing but directionless losing is enough. Boy wonder will be lucky if he ever gets another NBA management job after this insult to the city of Orlando.

Saying Hennigan just didn't get lucky is such a cop-out.. There's been a plenty of talent that was acquired through Hennigan's tenure that wasn't a result of having a top 3 pick
