Why have this, you might ask?
+ A place for us to chill and hang out and not be at each other's throats all the time.
+ We can set-up different chat rooms (text or voice) for separate occasions (if any of the Fantasy Basketball crew wanted a hub to discuss things, Build a Team groups, game day stuff if you can't access the forums/too lazy to get on, or just shooting the **** in the general chatroom with fellow Magic fans.)
+ Mobile friendly and the app is easy to use. You don't need to download Discord to use it, just make a name and you're good to go, as it works as a tab in your browser. But if you want to download it, you can also do that.
+ If anybody needs to get a hold of anybody else in the forums (NEM/drsd), Mod messaging, etc, it's pretty simple as there is private messaging, or using the @(username) feature.
+ If anybody games on console or PC, and wants to group up with or against anybody here, it's an easy way to talk trash or communicate with others using the voice channels.
Basically, I'm just seeing how this will go over. I can set up special ranks and privileges as well within the Discord server for people who I think deserve it (for fun) or are a mod on these forums already.
