If that's all that Isaac gets, we're F'ed.

We're F'ed no matter what. I don't think Isaac is ready for a big burn right away. It'll go up as the year goes on but he definitely won't be starting. That is certain.

I think he will play more than that to start. He has a high floor and high ceiling!

He is projected to be a great defender with the ability to rim protect with his length and use his agility to stay in front of wings.

Offensively his length, quickness, and touch will allow him to finish in the paint and on the perimeter and he's a good ball mover. He will be a really good role player with no Development.

His development will involve physically maturing (I don't think he will be a liability defensively even now) and ability to score and play make for others. That isolation development will be the stage in development that determines whether he will be a KD, Bosh type or an Ibaka type imo

With the body he currently has, I don't see him being able to effectively guard any decent SF/PF in the league. Vogel has bigger arms than him, right now.

I obviously could be wrong and it is just my opinion but I don't think he will be ready to play big minutes immediately. He will work in to it, slowly.

In general, I think everyone should curb their immediate expectations for Isaac. He is a very raw prospect, as well. He will need a lot of time to get to where we want him to be. He will not be a stud in year 1. There won't be any ROY talk surrounding his season.

What's raw about him ? He's thin right now, that's about it.

For his age and position (PF) his shooting, rim protection, handle, lateral quickness, passing ability, ability to finish in the paint. Are all above average or Average at worst.

We are talking about minutes here I doubt that he will be a worse defender on SF then Fournier or a worst defender on PF then Hezonja. There is no player on our entire team that will defend SF or PF better than Isaac outside of AG. Plus it's not like he will be a liability offensively right away even.

I've been reading this board like crazy lately and I haven't heard anybody say he would be the ROY this year, so I'm not sure that everyone should temper their expectations.

I know he has a ways to go to become an elite two way player but he already has the skill set to be a good two way role player from day one and that is already a rare thing on our team.

It's not like we have better options on our team anyway.

I think so, I'm excited that he stayed in Orlando this summer to get his first full summer of Training with Magic staff.

I'm hoping he takes a big leap next year, I'm a fan of his athleticism, shooting, and underrated passing ability.

All I want is an entertaining basketball team. Because last season they were absolutely atrocious. And they weren't even tanking they were just bad. Probably the least fun Magic team to watch ever. I want to be entertained.

Playoffs through youth would be great! But.... youth first.... no skipping steps.... no jumping to conclusion and going "all in" prematurely. Find out the depth of our youths talents! And by doing so... i'm sure we'll brew some excitement. It'll be a great season.

Thank you, that is exactly what I feel.

DeVos will give a order to win and go to PO. We will try to do it and end up short being nowhere.

A lot of minutes and experience to young players.

Trade away vuc, Fournier, biyambo possibly. Deplete bench even more than last year. Bench and vets need to be depleted to ensure losing and youth movement. Even so very possible AG will suprise to upside, but with depleted roster his improved play should not be enough to effect record. Best of both world would be the excitement of an AG breakout along with a bottom out record year resulting in very high lotto pick.

Bottom out, have worst or second worst record in league Lotto to top two pick in next years draft. Pick Porter.

Rebuild back on track with Payton, Ross, AG, Porter, Isaac, Hezonja as foundation.
