Same here although I would not trade any of The Magic's future firsts.

There are some good players here but it will be interesting to see what the market is.

I didn't say we should trade any future firsts. Especially next years but even beyond that I would at least have lottery protection on it.
As for free agency we only have about 12-14 mill. The latest cap projection dropped it from 101 mill to 99 mill so there is even less and when it officially comes in it could be even lower than that as projections have been getting lower and lower each time they have been made. We are going to have to overpay for any of the bigger names and even some of the middle of the road guys. We just have no business spending any sort of big money outside of one year deal. I would give some minimum level money beyond year one for some of the younger bottom tier guys like maybe Trey Burke if he can lose his restricted status. Or maybe Adriene Payne or Tyler Eniis but other that we can't get involved in bidding wars.

They probably won't get any big fish and they will be careful with money.

You never know what might happen though.

yeah well their is a limit to what we can spend unless we start moving some money out while taking less in return. And yeah you never know what will happen but that goes with out saying. Just saying don't expect much from free agency and letting people know that we don't have much cap space thanks to previous management.

I don't expect any big splashes either. The big moves will be via trade.

The Biyombo and Augustin are coming back to bite The Magic.

yeah you are simply just repeating what I have been saying and know. I think we agree so lets just let it go and wait and see what happens.

No, I am just replying to your comments. I think your agreeing with me. We should end this one though and move on to other subjects.

The more I think about this trade, the less I like it. Orlando seems most likely to get three 2nd round picks out of this. There had to be a better offer available if there was not a clock ticking in the background. Seems like a snap decision.

Orlando clearly was concerned about tying up salary.

Personally I would have liked Orlando drafting and keeping Caleb Swanigan. He is a high energy guy. And the statistical metric of him have him as a top-5 prospect (not that he actually is). But at 25, Swanigan seems like a value pick - who actually went 26.
