The real shock value is seeing:

1) Timmy Vucevic

2) The great Fournier/TRoss/JSimmons trio

3) Jonathan Isaac with the impressive 2-way performance THIS EARLY!

4) The UNSELFISH San Antonio Spurs-esque PASSING TEAM-WIDE!
In the past few years, I have always favored more passing than anything else for this team. Wins against MIA and CLE is why.

The core, for me, is Isaac, Vucevic, Fournier, and Aaron, with minor core players like Simmons and others. And if we keep winning, then the core is everyone lol.
Where's the defense though? Are they hungry enough to get revenge against Brooklyn?

Which minor core players do you mean with others?

For me the core is gordon, isaac, fournier, simmons( every team needs a player with this intensity).
Would also keep iwundu,he has the skills to become a hollis-jefferson or derek anderson type of player.
Vucevic in shape can do good things on the court

I could see why you put Simmons with the main core for sure. If Iwundu develops like that, he would for sure be part of that minor core. Who I really meant was T-Ross and Elfrid as supplementary core pieces. Both are having bigger impacts than the box score shows through 2-3 games. I almost want to put D.J. too, because we really need that shooter who can also pass, but I don't know if he can be consistently good.

We could be 3-0, that's amazing! Hope this trend continues...

Imo weltman and hammond will have an eye on him. He fits their mold of player with his versality and defense as a combo guard with a 6f10 wingspan

I agree with David, The most gratifying win in over 5 years. Now if we can just get a revenge game on the Nets on Tuesday, this will be the best start to the season since Dwight/VC era.

I read somewhere that we had started 0-3 for 3 years in a row. This is why this start matters.

Correct we and the 76rs are the only teams that started 0-3 in the past 3-4 years I think. The hilarious part? All these media analysts predicting that a team of 2 rookies who have never played an NBA game and a guy with 33 games experience was to lead the team to the playoffs while we bottom out as one of the east worse teams again.

REsult? The 76rs once again start out 0-3 and we could have been 3-0 if AG and EP didn't get injured.

This is going to be a fun year. :)

In their defense, Philly looked better than we did last year and there was a strech they were among the better teams in the league while we looked dysfuntional all year.

I'm just happy that we've seen consistency with coaching and the players. I hope it translates well for everyone for the sake of the team.....yes including Biyombo. I missed the voting window and while I would've picked Nik, Simmons was a close second. He's a dog which is the type of player we've needed and Imo he completely changes the complexity of the game in a good way.
