Phoenix's motivation for trading Monroe is to free up a roster spot for Mike James. We'd have to take on another player.

I'm personally not against trading for Monroe but the deal would just need to include another player(s).

I don't know, I have interest in Willie-Cauley Stein. He's more of a fundamental defender and not a huge shotblocker, but he's still a very athletic 7 footer. Would give Payton a lob target, we know he liked playing with Dedmon. Heck...even getting Dedmon back...

Mason III impressed me a lot when I watched them play as well. Kind of reminded me of Jameer just out there making things happen.

ORL: Gasol
MEM: Vuc + Ross

ORL: Hill + Carter
SAC: Biyombo + Mario + Augustin

Gasol/Speights
Gordon/(Payne/Birch)
Isaac/Simmons
Fournier/Carter/AA
Hill/Payton/Mack

That’s a team with some legit veteran leadership who should be able to wrangle the egos and get everyone playing defense.

Although, I’m not sure if either Memphis or Sacramento would even consider those deals...
