Best player ever picked at 41 is Nikola Jokic. Maybe we find a Nikola Jokic?

Just incredibly inept, awful franchise that I desperately what to support. But honestly they’ve done nothing to deserve that support or earn any of our fandom.

From the highest levels this franchise is an embarrassment, top to bottom really. This management team inspires no confidence whatsoever. There’s nothing to look forward to.

Been a fan for 20 years and I’m just kinda done at this point.

not you too??
I admit i am stepping back from spending on gear and goodies but totally leave? maybe there is a method to the madness. I at least want to see what they have in store. This is tough but we been through too many 15 to 25 win seasons. They stay effin up but this is the team.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

c'mon don't start talking crazy.

all my peeps leaving *tear*

I may watch the games on replay and just skip through them really quickly. Only have any interest at all in watching Birch, Isaac, Iwundu, Mario and AG at this point. And things will get really hard to watch when Vuc comes back *shudders*

ChosenSavior wrote:It sucks we could not snag Phoenix's own 2nd rounder but that really does not surprise me honestly. The value of our players is in the crapper right now sans Isaac and AG. Our player development has to improve going forward so crap like this does not happen again. I knew no one would trade for him since he's a UFA next season but glad to see that Mario is still with the team. We have talked ad nauseam about how he is gone and it is certainly possible that he is but he has expressed liking it here with the Magic. If any of that is remotely true, you have to use this part of the season to develop him with the other young guys and see what he can do with higher usage. It'll be a miracle if we can sign him back. Gonna try to look at this situation more positively as guys like Evan, Vuc, etc. will hold more value next season when their financial commitment towards them decreases.

I'm interested to see if we do anything with the open roster spot that was just created today.
look, im not gonna lie. Our player development needs to be changed. (Would you believe that our player development coach has been the same since Jcque Vaughn era?)

But player development also has to work both ways. I’m sure we’ve tried investing on a shooting coach for Elf. Same with Dwight. But still nothing.

See that part where I said "of the season"? I'll still be here where I've been a valued member for 10 years longer than you've even been here.

There’s no butthurt just funny that EP leaves and people all of a sudden act as if he’s going to turn into something more than a backup.

Season ticket holder for 10 years congrats on the message board membership tho!! I don’t need online points.

Having a season ticket means?

He’s the one that brought it on with his “valued member of a fan board” comment. Tried to pull the bigger better fan card and got sniped.

No, you tried play me like I was a player fan and I let you know what was what. Had nothing to do with being a "bigger fan". I've been here and I'll still be here. Snarky comments be damned.

He couldn't say "Once we determined we don't want to deal with this nice player any longer and have no intention of giving him a new contract".

I got a feeling that this the lowest this franchise fell EVER. Not because they traded Elfrid for peanuts, of course. There's not a single reason to be excited, trade deadline left all of us unsatisfied (even if it's for different reasons). Now we'll be just counting the days until draft lottery. This season is over.

Will be 24 in a few days (and happy dammm birthday sheesh ), but yeah i think most here think he hit his ceiling or something. This is the point that causes the division i guess. People were not trying to wait anymore to see if he could do more and he has had time. I get it. I don't like it but i get it.

I don't think it's about waiting. It's rather about upcoming decision about his new contract and whether Weham wanted to pay him 7 figure salary per year. I think Suns will ultimately regret paying him 12-14 million (if it's them who sign Elf in the off-season).
