Then you must have missed part of Skiles' era where above mentioned really happened.

But seriously, he's mainly a SF that can play both SG and point forward role at 4 cause of his vision / passing.

I dont think he has to look asfar as 2 years ago. I suggest he watch Magic games. Mario do sometimes bring down the ball off a steal or rebound.

Of course he's not our PG of the future. However, he did not decide to play better suddenly. He finally got his minutes and he's doing exactly what 90% of us here on this forums said time after time after time. I don't even remember how many times have that been mentioned here.

The fact is, whenever Mario was given steady playing time, 20+ minutes, his production was outstanding. Same thing is happening now.

If you don't believe me, please feel free to ask and I, or someone else, will provide you with the numbers. Thanks.

Or he was given a chance and healthy this year..

90% of “us”... lol ok. Don’t try to isolate like I’m the only one who didn’t have any faith in him. It’s you and maybe a few other people. Talking about 90% of “us”... it’s more like 90% were done with him.
Secondly, you’re not going to provide ME with anything I don’t already know, so keep your numbers.

He looked lost even when he was given minutes on offense AND defense. He suddenly started playing well, accept it and move on. He can be a secondary ball handler in very short spurts like a lot of wing players in the league. Mario is stepping up and the other day I wondered if they’d like a Mario/Isaac combo instead of Ag/Isaac but y’all are getting WAY too excited.

From where the league is going Hezonja/Isaac has more potential than Ag/Isaac. Gordon is average shooter and passer at best, fast but not quick, cant get people off the dribble. He made progress, and propably will make more but i see potential for good 3rd option not first or 2nd. In houston he has less sense than Mbah a Moute in Warriors he is energy of the bench imo.
Mario has CHANCE ( small) to be 2nd option.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Hezonja can't play point guard because he can't defend the position. You can never have too many capable ball handlers on the floor. Being able to bring the ball up the court or being able to use a screen doesn't make you a point guard.

Why not keep all 3? That would be awesome from my perspective. Mario at SG, Gordon at PF. Isaac at either SF or C

I'd rather keep Mario over Gordon. Plus Vogel likes to play Mario at the 4. I don't know why he just doesn't keep playing him at SG. Eventually if you keep throwing them in the deep end they'll learn how to swim.
