That makes no sense to me. You don't take on a guy with an existing max contract and those numbers unless you expect substantial improvement.

Right. And we have both with Gordon, which is why I think it make sense to sign him here.

Look at Mario, everyone is upset we declined his option even though he was horrible until finally getting more minutes and having everything start to click. Will the Magic regret signing him and Gordon back here if they can? It seems like the answer is no.
