i agree and I think they will get that player no matter where they pick.

However, it is frustrating as hell to see The Sixers get where they at by tanking.

This rebuild has been hell and sadly understand the consequences of The Magic winning.

It's a tough dilemma when you have to choose whether it would be best for your favorite team to win or lose. I struggle with it each game and do not want to see the Magic win too much especially given the lotto standings.

Losing is the only option now Howard, and unfortunately probably more losing next season. Vucevic, Fournier, Ross, and maybe Augustine all need to be moved and we need to restart and fresh the roster and locker room. I'm a Gordon fan but we need to see how far it's got into him as well. I feel for Frank but I think the coaching staff might need to change (maybe keep Forcier) and get a coach focused on development and building the culture and habits. Ideally I would want a coach likw Mark Jackson who players believe in and want to play for, or even Stackhouse that's been rumoured, then In the summer we should go into the draft with

??/Mack
??/Iwundu/Afflalo
Hezonja/Isaac
Gordon/Speights
Birch/Biyombo

No matter who we draft or get in a trade that core will lose again, and I'm ok with that. We need to trade the vets for picks or young players, and target a franchise player and/or a go to scorer in the draft. As others have mentioned I'd be open to Thomas if we don't draft a point guard, and he would help take the steps to change the culture but likely not be enough to get us out of the 10 in the lottery in 2019. A great scenario going into the season would be the roster below, which would repair some of the damage of the culture and give our young players time to develop

Thomas/Mack
Doncic/Iwundu/Afflalo
Hezonja*/Simmons
Gordon/Birch/Speights
Biyombo/Isaac/

(*Hezonja would need to be persuaded to stay and a starting role could well do that)

You also have to change the culture around here but believe me, I look at the lotto ball standings often.

I want a good pick too but regardless, The Magic will need luck in the lotto if they want one of the top three picks.

Vucevic and Fournier are going to be the prime trade options and it's likely a coaching change is going to be made.

I think we will see more movement than last summer.

I figured Bizmark would be the most prime trade target if this team needs money to improve this roster.
