Yes, he makes mistakes from time-to-time. He also has too many bad games. But, he's still really young and learning and getting better and still beasts on some nights and plays really well on most while leading the team in scoring, and, on some nights, in rebounds and assists.

He's also one of the better defenders on the team, Vuc is a better defender than most give him credit for, but AG has him beat there.

Arguing about who the best overall player seems futile because this team is so bad.. but Evan has been our best offensive player this season IMO. This team is bad with him, atrocious and unwatchable without him

I agree with this... Out of the trio it seems like the team suffers the most when Fournier is not playing.

Or they are that good...

If you’re judging them on their ability to execute a strategy... and we’re tanking... yeah...

I still believe its a stealth tank. We are just doing it to avoid penalties by Silver.

Its not a stealth tank... Atlanta had literally G-League talent and the Magic still lost to them while they still had guys like Vucevic and Gordon in the line-up.

I'm not sad that they lost because I'm pro tank but goodness gracious to lose and play that poorly against a team that is much worse than you is telling.

Management is slightly tanking by milking some (not all) injuries, calling up g-leaguers like purvis and artis, and DNPing guys like Speights/Afflalo. It's nowhere near the tanking efforts of other teams though... along with DNPing their best guys (not just bench role players), they are also limiting their best active players to like 20-25 mpg and benching them in 4th quarters. Our tank is different... it's organically strong. Our players are not tanking... they are just frustrated and/or checked out from a miserable season. Vogel is not tanking... he's just a a bad coach who has no real system and fails to bring the best out of many of his players. The Hawks were able to win despite being worse on paper because they have a much better coach and their players still listen to and believe in him and his system.

At least NBA history was made in an otherwise awful matchup
The Hawks attempted one free throw the entire game, as was mentioned in the recap. How rare is this? Since at least the 1963-64 season, there has been only one other NBA game where a team attempted one free throw for the game, which was done in February of 2014, when Memphis attempted just one free throw against Atlanta.

exactly they are milking what cards gave them but there is no real tanking effort there...its again half ass effort and again no real commintment to taking we didnt shut down healthy players like Grizz,Phx and Atl did.We didnt gut out our team didnt trade away guys like Vuc(though you can always argue Vuc is helping the tank) we propably look at 4-6 pick and 2nd tier talent instead of 1st tier because of that but maybe thats enough for our Gms maybe they already know they are taking Young or Bamba for exmaple so they dont need top 3 pick for that.
