No thanks. With the cap hold on Gordon and with our 1st we are over the cap and don't have the space to go after bigger free agents like Rozier who is restricted and likely going back to Boston anyway. No thanks to Dwight. Plus no way am I taking Sexton over Young. I would not like that summer but it can't happen as we shouldn't expect much from free agency as we are over the cap and only have the mid-level and bi annual exception which isn't going to attract much and can be easily matched if we offer it to any of the restricted free agents.

No thanks. With the cap hold on Gordon and with our 1st we are over the cap and don't have the space to go after bigger free agents like Rozier who is restricted and likely going back to Boston anyway. No thanks to Dwight. Plus no way am I taking Sexton over Young. Teodosic needs minutes as well and it just a matter of time Patrick will ask for increase minutes. 3rd string PG will not sit well with him. They can turn Sexton into a defensive SG(Ross) and another athletic SF (Iwundu) which they are thin. Avery Bradley (SG) is UFA.

No way in the world am I trading the 6th pick for Rozier, Morris, Baynes and a late first. No No NO! The Clips are not going to trade Sexton for Ross and Iwundu. The moves don't make us any better and actually could make us worse but also don't make sense. Why not just pick Sexton. Your moves just seem to circle around to that. Which as I said I am not passing up Young for Sexton so as I said I would hate these trades but as I said they can't happen so No use getting too upset about it.

I don't agree with much of this but it still does not explain why Clips trade young assets for Ross and Iwundu both of who are terrible.
