If we draft Bamba/JJJ I'll probably puke and quit this team.

I wish people who made these statements actually lived up to it. So often someone (Patrick just a few days ago) claims to “give up” for good and is right back the next day.

I don't like player comparisons but if Kevin Knox plays like Jayson Tatum did in his rookie year, We appear to hit a home run with our 6th overall pick.

Kevin Knox is underrated to me, his obvious limitation is his lack of explosion. He has a bit of trouble beating his man off the dribble but I can see the Tatum in him. You know what's funny, Knox seems like the type of "out of nowhere" pick. Like everyone is expecting one player then we subvert expectations and pick Knox saying he was our target the entire time.

haha It was well known Patrick would be back when finds new fresh clip of some player and he did
Im not chasing anybody out of the town though
ppl talk sht they dont really mean
I just dont get it why so overdramatic
Tho I would kind of feel like Nemesis here if we pick Sexton

if I had to list names that would bum me out
it would be Sexton or Knox (if taken that high) Miles Bridges
then tier 2 I woudnt be happy about is Carter and JJJ
but I could live with it

Im actuallly strapping in for Sexton because such sht always happens for me...we always draft a guy I disklike the most

Again its because we have a top pick in a decent draft that we have a chance to land him. The 6th and Vuc would be enough imo. We just need something to let us know he will commit to playing here long term. Id think the FO will be interested.

Kemba is more of a quick fix tbh. And i dont think he alone can lift us to contender level. I think its better to accumulate assets, at this point.

I just dont think that even if we have Kemba, we will be able to compete against the likes of Boston or Philly.

Not this year but its a start. I can think of a minimum of 10 games last year where we could have used a closer like Kemba to score in the crunch to seal the game. We just don't have a go-to scorer and closer. AG tried and isnt that yet, Fournier has his moments but isn't consistent to do it every night, and that's all we have.

Give me the scoring talent of Kemba walker alongside a healthy decent shooter and perimeter defender like Tross and our backcourt is already better than last year.

Kemba
Tross
Isaac
AG
Any C but Vuc

That team will at least compete and win more games. Its a start in the right direction.

Ross hasnt been a decent shooter since we got him. Much better on defense than expected, but his shot got left in customs in Toronto

If we draft Trae, then I follow up with Khryi Thomas and Jevon Carter.

you want Trae and then two more PG in Carter and Thomas?

If we trade down, I wouldn't be shocked if we took a flyer on Robert Williams. He's got an elite catch radius and can rebound/block shots at an elite level. He also seems to be decent as a passer in short roll situations. Could be a Clint Capela type player in time.
