Re: Doncic
I still don't see why people fretting about centers. Good to have one goon on the bench (miss you Speights) for those rare encounters with Whitehead (if he plays), Embiid, Gasol, Drummond- otherwise Birch can hold down the fort and I'd like to see more Isaac (a little more weight, not a ton)...look at Draymond. We're not contending...if we drafted Bagley, he'd probably be our Center and he's Birch-sized...Set picks, protect the paint, but switching is more important than being a "space eater" these days. Pachulia is the best "real" center in the best team in decades.
sorry to derail Doncic post. The position is dead...or at least hibernating.

Re: Doncic
If we found a way to get Doncic...does he really step in at PG? People casually throw around Point Forward around as a position. I watched Lebron initiate every possession, but don't you still need a little guy to bring it over half-court? I'd be thrilled if he could actually step in as PG, as opposed to dropping Isaac farther down the bench, while Augustin plays. I'd like to see him be like Simmons- an oversized true PG. (I understand he's not athletically like Ben Simmons) But can he get the ball from end to end without Beverly, Wall, Schroeder, etc killing him (on both ends) all night? I like him and Mario as our 6'8 versatile backcourt, with Isaac, AG, Birch up front for some sets...Even Vuc can move the ball and it would be a big, long lineup with range and mismatch inside size from all 5.

Re: Doncic
this is why i don't belive smokescreens.
Remember , Kings are allegedly getting Bagley for sure.
Problem here is Jonathan Givony, he missed last few reports ,said Vlade is not in Europe ( he was) ,he is not meeting with Dončić ( he did) and he pretty much admited that he doesn't want Kings to draft Dončić.
This is pretty s*** from somebody who works for Draftexpress and uses his power to make lies and manipulate with infos.
It's clear as day that he has something against Doncic (or kings, or both ) because all reports of Doncic stock dropping- are actually from him and him only. Naturally, comming from guy who said that "nobody wants to play for Kings" .
This is why i dont' trust anything reported last few weeks. This guys all now work for ESPN and we all know that they media people all have their agendas to push . ESPN is borderline unwatchable program with left wing politics propaganda on every corner. They were all over Bruce Jenner winning female of a year espy award

Re: Doncic
If Kong’s take Doncic they would be strong at the guard position but not so much at the forward position.
Bojanovic,Luka,Buddy, Fox
Maybe we can steal one of them In a trade.
I’d give up Vuc (if they still like him) and sign and trade AG for salty fillers (expiring with or before Biz), Fox, and WCS. And take Knox at #6 and Shake in the second round
D. Fox/DJ
Fournier/Ross
Knox/ Shake
Isaac/Mario (hopefully)
WCS/Birch

From Atlanta board, they want Trae Young and Josh Jackson for Luka Doncic. I don't think this is worthwhile for Orlando to have two Evan Fournier. I think Josh Jackson is a piece to keep. But will Orlando actually bite on that?

Orlando doesnt have Josh Jackson, so not sure how that trade would happen.

Givony tweeted Divac wasnt in Europe?
Givony runned his mouth a lot last few weeks about things he pulls from nowhere with zero proof
“He’s going to have a little say here as well,” DraftExpress founder Jonathan Givony said on “The Woj Podcast” this week. “He’s actually under contract in Real Madrid, and if he doesn’t want to go to Sacramento, he could definitely make things hard on them and make things difficult by saying, ‘Guys, if you draft me, I’m going to sign a huge extension. I’m going to make 2 million Euro next year, and I’m not coming over until you trade my rights.’
“He’s never at any point said 100 percent that he’s coming over next year. I think he would like to. Obviously, you want to get your rookie scale contract started. You want to get moving on that second deal four years from now, but he has a lot more leverage in this process than anybody else in this draft, so it’ll be very interesting for me to hear what his camp thinks, because Sacramento is not the most attractive place for a young prospect.”
on Pay for read article Givony wrote this
Bagley is the mock pick du jour for the Kings ever since Givony reported that “the Kings’ front office has been expressing significant skepticism about Doncic’s NBA prospects all year in private conversations, long before they moved up in the draft” on May 24.
and cream on the cake
Givony’s original report (Insider):
The Kings were initially supposed to have GM Vlade Divac in Belgrade, according to a Sacramento front-office executive at the combine, but Divac never made it, instead electing to attend his son’s college graduation in California. People I trust say the Kings’ front office has been expressing significant skepticism about Doncic’s NBA prospects all year in private conversations, long before they moved up in the draft. At this stage, I think a lot of NBA teams have already made up their minds about Doncic, and it isn’t quite as flattering as we initially thought
in mean time Divac posting pictures from Serbia doing charity work for his foundation.
So even if he wasn't in Serbia at Euroleague final 4, he was in Spain ( where pic i posted took place ) on Spanish champinoship game .
So lies with bad infos where he draws his own conclusions made by poor infos. Pretty terrible reporting, comming from allegedly highly respective guy. And that's draxt express founder, not some tweeter nerd.
This reports are flat out lazy i can do them by myslef " Bagley took pic of himself whlie pooping, by color of napkin it's clear he is going to Memphis"

i am calling the magic moving up for Doncic if he is there at 4. We have been tied to Parsons for years, and we can eat his 2 year deal...question is...would they take Biz back?

This is what I think happens as well. Or at least Orlando attempts to make this happen. I’d obviously would rather get rid of useless players so Biyombo is atop my list but I’d give them Fournier if they said no to Biyombo (which wouldn’t surprise me)
