I try to be realistic we were let down so many times, still i like Melivin and Jackson cant do anything about it too
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

More extensive footage on Melvin

As i didn't watch Melvin at all i'm kinda surprised how much he had the ball in his hands initiating a lot of actions in that offense. Pretty good first step and he seems to project well as a slasher, not afraid of contact and mixing it up. Athletically, what can i say he is a high level athlete not quite "head at the rim" but pretty close i'd say and with his pretty good first step he has some posters in his future.

Jumpshot needs work though, doesn't seem consistent to me sometimes he releases the ball in front of his face and sometimes behind his head. Decision making at times offensively can be iffy, driving into a crowd.....but fortunately at least based off this video he doesn't really take bad shots most of the time. Defensively, dude is a HAWK and what i like the most is that he doesn't really gamble....sticks to you like white on rice and waits until YOU make the mistake not him which shows good coaching and that he's coachable. Nothing more to say really defensively as this aspect of his game is obviously where his bread is buttered, he'll hang is hat on his defense.

Bottom line is i honestly think we might have gotten a 1st round talent in the second round, i'm trying hard not to get too excited and temper expectations but like others have said in this thread i feel good about Frazier.......now lets move on to Jackson.........

i got nothing

He has good handles, vision, and should have no problem on the defensive end... large PG project? If he can get a consistent, smooth shot down, then he could be a really good player. What does Exum do better than him?

Frazier looks like he can get to the rim, but he's a little out of control when he gets there. Tenacious defense. Captain Obvious offers his opinion: "If he can improve, he can make it!"
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

IF only he can replicate what Courtney Lee did in O uniform! Just be tenacious in defense and always drive to the basket with careless abandon!

Really like Frazier’s athleticism and defense. Looks like the potential is there for him to absolutely be a plus defender.

I also really think he showed some emerging secondary playmaking ability. The vision to make passes more than the actual ability to make them right now, but ultimately I believe passing is something you can improve, whereas vision is more of a trait you either have or don’t.

His shot did show steady improvement over three years, but I’m not sold on his form yet.

From the YouTube videos, Frazier reminds me alot of sdsu Kawhi. Now of course Kawhi made insane leaps to become a top 5 player, so not saying Frazier had that kinda potential, but their college games are very similar

Just imagine how good they’d be in practice, day in and day out. Not just for themselves, but for opponent players on the team.

Draft Grade: A+

My guess is that the Magic are planning on taking it slow with Jackson considering he's still just like 6 months removed from a pretty major shoulder surgery.

No need to rush him back for summer ball before he's 100% healthy.

He didn't compete in scrimmages at the combine because of the shoulder.

I am excited about Frazier. He is a 3 and D type that can also jump over the gym. He should easily make this team.

Agreed, he'll probably be at the practices too. He can learn a lot, just can't go through contact and shooting.

Is Fraizer like Jerryl aka Iverson stopper Sasser?
