Zach Lavine Sign and Trade to the Magic?

What do you guys think about getting Lavine for Fournier and OKC 1st. We get younger and Lavine would space the floor and is a decent passer. He would also be covered on defense by Bamba, Isaac and AG.

If we trade Vuc for a late 1st or 2nd and get Zach Lavine how would Lavine, AG, Isaac and Bamba look together. We can than go after Ferrell, Curry or Exum in a sign and trade and bring back Jameer.

I would pass on Lavine. I get this pg/sg version of carmelo anthony vibe. Lays up the stats.... but doesn't move the team needle enough. Especially if we are going to have to sign him to a long term contract immediately. :-/

Wouldn’t you just let him walk if you’re Chicago? Would rather have the cap space than the talents of Vucevic and a late first in two years.

i may be crazy, but if we could get him for say 4 yrs/ $15mil ish, i would do it. He would bring buzz to the team and would be a threat to score every night, something the team really needs. yeah, his defense isnt great, but with our bigs to help cover i dont think it would be that bad.

Lol i had a small nervousness that they could have done this to us. They had the cap to throw at AG and could go over to sign him back to CHI. A real gamble but would have been fun to watch. We have nothing to entice this so just a pipe dream.

I'd absolutely take a run at LaVine. We have to take as many swings at potential stars as well can.

I'd rather have Fournier over Lavine. I would happily trade Vooch+Okc 1st+filler for Lavine though.

I agree about the Fournier over Lavine bit but I wouldn't give up Vuc+1st. I'd rather invest in a certified playmaker.
