I was so enthusiastic about the Magic’s future on this day. I went to school with Tracy so that added another layer of excitement that he was playing for his home team. Grant was already a top 5 player who hadn’t even entered his prime, and Tracy was on the cusp of discovering what a great player he would turn out to be.
It is so sad that Grant played on his broken ankle in the prior years playoffs. Ruined his career and robbed the fans of seeing how great he could have really become. Oh what could have been.
