Which player do you dislike most on the Magic?

With draft picks its always a risk but i think Bamba upside is too huge to pass. You can get elite guard, wing in a deal but elite big man? They are rarely available for trade.

I accept your words, but I project Gilgeous-Alexander as a special player.

I don’t dislike / hate any player on this roster.

We live in a world of big-3 teams with multiple max contract players sharing #1 option duties. Not only are we not a part of this multi-max deal club, we don’t have a single max salary. Not one single player was signed to their contract on the expectation they would be “the guy” for us right now. Unfortunately, failers by Henny in other areas mean some have to be shoved into that role which causes so many here to hate them.

Anyone on a rookie scale contract gets a pass.

If I have to pick someone for this rediculous thread it would be Vuc. It isn’t that I dislike him but rather I think it is best for both sides that we part ways. He is productive. Let him crush it in the 2nd unit on a contender and experience quality basketball. Meanwhile, we need to move on to Isaac and Bamba.

I don't "dislike" Vučević as, in agreement with the above, either he or his expiring contract is th best path forced for the Magic to upgrade the starting PG. On could add Ross to that discussion.

I feel like people here are not giving him a fair chance.Id understand if you guys felt that after his 2nd season if he wont improve.

Well, the SL games in our recent memory surely didn't help him. He looked like arse, as in he has no business being on an active roster in this league. Is that hate? Uh, close enough.

Yeah ofc we all expected more of him but lets not act like anybody on our roster actually played any good Bamba and Isaac shown flashes but still nothing really amazing.
Melvin shot like 28% from the field or something.
Isaac 35%.His summer league numbers werent really THAT much better than Iwundu ones.The only thing statistically Isaac did really better was blocks.Both about same crappy shooting 35% vs 32% 7rebs vs 6rebs 1 assist vs 0.8 assist 1.3 stl vs 1,5 stl.Obviously points but it was a matter of how many shots each took and the blocks but again different position different role.
Imo too early to worship one and cast away another.

Some say Iwundu is still pump faking wide open 3's to drive into the lane & turn the ball over...

Frazier > Iwundu at this point due to the newness factor and Frazier might be able to develop a 3 point shot.

I like that he attacks the basket but he gets some serious tunnel vision, turns the ball over more than anybody on the team, had the worst on-off +/- last year, worst VORP and always seems out of position on defense.

I'm interested in seeing him with a new coach, at times i convinced myself he was playing the role he'd been asked to try and fill and he could still adapt to being what he should be.

Last year proved that Simmons is to an NBA starter. But he can be a quality player on a roster whose wings are not ravaged by injuries.
